First baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr had 2 base hits at Target Field as the
Philadelphia Freedom beat the ice-cold Oklahoma Missilemen by the count of 6
to 3.
 
Erick Fedde(11-7) earned his pay with a solid performance for Philadelphia.
He allowed 9 hits and no walks in 8 innings and allowed 2 gopher balls.
Despite losing, Oklahoma out-hit Philadelphia 11 to 8.  
 
Fedde was helped out by Porter Hodge who recorded his 15th save.  Corbin
Burnes(11-20) was the losing pitcher.  He allowed 8 hits and 2 walks in 7 and
2/3 innings.

The Seattle Jets easily topped the Vancouver Flames; the final score was 8 to
2.
 
Manny Machado provided the offensive punch.  He doubled in the 5th inning and
clubbed a three-run home run in the 6th inning.  Offensively, Seattle was a
juggernaut.  They scored in 6 separate innings.  
 
Ryan Pepiot(12-10) picked up the victory, allowing 2 runs in 6 innings. Reese
Olson(7-11) absorbed the loss.  He pitched 4 and 1/3 innings and surrendered
5 hits and 4 walks.
 
MASSACHUSETTS(72-68) AT GOTHAM(79-60)

Second baseman Brice Turang had 2 base hits as the Gotham Knights bested the
Massachusetts Mayhem 4 to 0 at Arkham Stadium.
 
Gotham brought 3 runs across the plate in the bottom of the 5th inning when
they had 4 base hits.  The key at-bat was by Salvador Perez who electrified
Arkham Stadium when he popped a two-run clout over the fence.  Gotham
finished with 8 hits while Massachusetts ended up with 5.  
 
The win was credited to Yu Darvish(8-8) who went 6 and 2/3 innings allowing no
runs. Brant Hurter recorded the save, his 10th.  The losing pitcher was
Tobias Myers(6-7).  
 
The Gotham ballclub's record now stands at a division leading 79-60.
Massachusetts has a record of 72-68 after the loss.

Nestor Cortes went 7 solid innings at Bay Park where the Delaware Devils beat
the league door-mat Oyster Bay Tomcats by the score of 3 to 1.
 
Delaware jumped on top to stay in the 2nd inning scoring a single run on 2
base hits.  Ryan Walker was perfect in relief and gained credit for his 21st
save.  
 
The victory was credited to Cortes(10-6) who went 7 innings, allowing 1 run.
Ryan Weathers(5-15) suffered the loss.  He allowed 2 runs and 6 hits in 7
innings.  
 
 
TAMPA BAY(78-62) AT NASHVILLE(67-73)

Jonah Bride blasted 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Bryan Woo pitched 8 strong
innings at Fed Ex Field where the Tampa Bay Firestorm beat the Nashville
Classics 6 to 1.
 
Bride was a thorn in the side of the hometown fans as he enjoyed a fine day at
their team's expense.  He blasted a two-run home run in the 2nd inning and
clubbed a two-run home run in the 3rd inning.  Tampa Bay finished with 8 hits
in the victory.  
 
The victory went to Woo(13-10) who went 8 innings, allowing 1 run. Joe
Ryan(6-6) was hit with the loss.  He got hit hard, allowing 6 hits and 3
walks in 3 and 2/3 innings.  
 
 
LAS VEGAS(75-65) AT LOS ANGELES(74-66)

In a tight game it was the Los Angeles Lycans 8, the Las Vegas Aces 6 in 12
innings at Hollywood Park.
 
Both teams had scored 6 runs after nine full innings.  Los Angeles won the
hard fought contest in the 12th inning.  Aaron Judge started the attack as he
smashed a two-run homer giving Los Angeles the win and sending the home town
fans into a frenzy.  Los Angeles rapped out 11 hits for the night.  
 
The win went to J.T. Chargois(2-4) who allowed no runs in 1 inning. Orion
Kerkering(4-3) was given the loss in relief.  Los Angeles now has a record of
74-66.  With the loss, the Las Vegas ballclub's record is 75-65.
 
ATLANTIC CITY(77-63) AT DAYTON(62-79)

The Dayton Grits got by the Atlantic City Surf at Grit Park.  The final score
was 3 to 1.
 
In the 6th inning Dayton scored 2 runs.  Cody Bellinger led off and keyed the
rally when he drew a walk.  Dylan Cease then unleashed a wild pitch.  After
an out was recorded, Alec Burleson then doubled bringing in a run.  Corey
Seager followed and he stroked a base-hit, and an error was also committed,
scoring the final run of the inning.  Atlantic City threatened in the 9th but
their rally came up short.  
 
Kyle Leahy(9-6) went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Leahy
got relief help from Matt Strahm who gained credit for his 5th save.
Cease(12-10) took the loss.
